The Iowa HIV Alliance is preparing to unveil its new anti-stigma campaign, "HIV Won't Stop Me." The first wave of the campaign will include internet and print media featuring messages from Iowans who embody the statement "HIV Won't Stop Me" (from living my life).
The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness of the stigma that surrounds HIV and the perceptions about living with HIV. Keep your eyes open for the campaign to launch on World AIDS Day, December 1st.
The Iowa HIV Alliance is a partnership between The Project, Planned Parenthood of the Heartland, Iowa Department of Public Health, Positive Iowans Taking Charge, Family Planning Council of Iowa, Iowa Community AIDS Partnership, McLellan Marketing, University of Iowa Virology Clinics, and the Nebraska AIDS Project.
