Volunteer Services at The Project consist of direct client services and indirect services performed by several active volunteers including but not limited to:

Reception:
Serves as front line contact with clients and individuals. Answering the phone, mailings and special projects are just a few of the tasks this position entails.

Food Bank/Pantry:
Many clients and family members rely on our food pantry. The Project serves over 100 individuals monthly who access this needed service. Volunteers are needed to stock the food pantry and to assist the Food Pantry Coordinator with picking up the food from the Food Bank Of Iowa. We are in need of volunteers to assist in use of their own pickup to haul the food each week.

Share The Harvest:
This is our holiday program. People in the community from all walks of life offer their time and donations to enable individuals/family with a gift list. The donor will supply the client with a gift and then will have the caseworker deliver it to the individual. This is done anonymously.

Special Events:
Assist The Project with fundraisers and events.

Bilingual Volunteers:
We welcome and encourage bilingual volunteers. The Project works with individuals who first language is not English. Translation services are needed.
